ConviTec exciter cells CKE are used as vibration drive for shake-out systems for foundries and for circular and linear vibrating screens in different industries. Exciter cells are designed for three-shift operation and ensure high availability requiring minimum maintenance and repair.

Due to their oil-lubricated compact structure the cell housings can be replaced as a whole. As a result, standstill periods can be reduced. Exciter cells are screwed to the side frame of the vibrating machine. A cell pair creates a centrifugal force the vector of which rotates at the speed of the drive motor shaft. A circular movement is created. Two cell pairs generate a targeted force due to an opposite direction of rotation. A linear movement is created. This centrifugal force can be changed during standstill by the installation of additional masses. A drive shaft provides the connection between the stationary drive motor and the cell pair. An intermediate drive shaft is used to connect the cells with each other. Different oil types can be filled in.

For especially demanding conditions of use a circulating oil lubrication with oil cooling is used to cool the lubrication oil.
